Compiling Your Guest List You're getting married in six months and you're not sure who to invite. While compiling a guest list here are a few suggestions. Close Family First, write down of all your close relatives, even if you know some of them will not be able to attend. You don't want to offend anyone by not sending an invitation. Write down names of your parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and that on your fiance's side. Think of your distant relatives next. This includes second cousins and in-laws. If they have spouses or children, invite them too. Friends, Classmates and Acquaintances Bringing your friends together will make your wedding day that much more enjoyable. While they can catch up on what they've been doing over the past few years, you can enjoy the warm feeling that comes from being surrounded by friends. Co-Workers When it comes to inviting co-workers, many engaged couples find they
are in a dilemma. Do they invite all of their co-workers? Just their supervisors? While
it's daunting, simply invite friends from work and let the rules of office politics
determine what other co-workers to invite. |
